for the last few years the Gold Coast MBA Golf Club has held a "mini hornibrook" at Coffs Harbour, a two and a half day event named the Graham Bartlett Memorial.
An invitation has again been extended to Newcastle MBA GC to send a team, expanded this year to 20 starters. The event has been well patronised by the club for the last three years, with teams of (previously limited to) 15 representatives who acquited themselves quite well in all of the events.
The field has historically been comprised of 30 Gold Coast club members, of whom about 7 or 8 live around Coff's,along with our contingent of 15. This means the NSW competitors approximately equal the Queensland visitors, which has given rise to the Blues -v- Maroons Challenge, which the Blues won comfortably in the 2011 inaugural year, but rolled over and surrendered last year.

Any members interested in participating should contact me as soon as possible...first in will qualify....$100 deposit required mid March, with balance of the golf fees in by the end of April.
In 2013 the Club will be seeking SPONSORSHIP for this event. Expressions of interest should be forwarded to Club President and sponsorship chair Gary Sheppard. Members are encouraged to approach their suppliers and contacts throughout the building industry. It is only through sponsorship that the club provides the benefits that members enjoy.
